Magnolia Pier Fishing Club

Established in 2022, Magnolia Pier Bait and Tackle has been providing the anglers of Magnolia Pier with snacks, drinks, bait, tackle, and expertise. Magnolia Pier is an increasingly-popular fishing destination on Long Island. Located on Reynolds Channel in Long Beach, New York, it provides yearlong access to many Northeast species including fluke, herring, and bluefish. Since its inception, the Magnolia Pier Community has provided a comfortable and welcoming fishing environment to experienced and novice anglers alike.

This year, we are creating a members-only Fishing Club to provide special opportunities for those who want to take their community experience to the next level. Members can look forward to exclusive events and perks, including member-only competitions, discounts at the Shop, and social events. The newly-constructed patio next to the pier will serve as the location for our Welcome BBQ for new members in the Spring.

Events for members include monthly BBQs, chartered fishing trips, fishing derbies, and participation in tagging programs to promote the club’s education and conservation efforts. Member benefits include Member Only Fishing Pools and Tournaments, exclusive tackle shop discounts, and Fishing Club merchandise.

Membership fees will be allocated to improving the facilities at the pier and providing new equipment. This may include new nets, scales, buckets and aerators for live bait, coolers, employee assistance, refurbishing the filet table, and a new online interactive platform for sharing fishing newsletters, recommendations, updates, and pictures. We at Magnolia Pier Bait and Tackle believe in making fishing accessible, enjoyable, and safe for anglers of all ages and experience levels, and look forward to meeting our new members.
